This was pretty fun. You pay at the gift shop to visit the indoor museums. Outside there are probably half a dozen full size locomotives for you to walk around and read about. There were a couple you could peak inside of. To see the inside museums cost us $12 for a family day pass. The railroad museum is the first and largest one to see. The first part was a bit dry for the kids, but as we went further on there were some more hands-on exhibits and a really fun model railroad.

We thought this museum would be a hit for our 2 year old train enthusiast but it was a bit over his head. The first part was full of history, interesting for the adults, but not so much for kiddos. The actual train displays were great, same with the car museum. I plan to return when my father is in town, a true railroad and history buff who will appreciate all this museum has to offer.
